​About the Role

As our Legal Counsel, you will represent Hybrid Greentech in our legal matters, ensuring that our contracts are structured to balance commercial interests and legal compliance with inputs from customers and our team of experts. 

 

Your Key Responsibilities

• Contract Drafting and Negotiation:

  • Prepare, review, and negotiate energy trading contracts, including purchase agreements, sales agreements, and service-level agreements.

  • Ensure terms align with company policies, legal standards, and risk management objectives.

• Risk Management:

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate contractual risks while ensuring regulatory compliance across all jurisdictions of operation.

  • Maintain awareness of legal and industry developments that could impact existing or future agreements.

• Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Act as the central liaison between internal departments, such as business development, software, finance, and trading teams.

  • Facilitate clear communication between external parties, including suppliers, customers, and legal counsel.

• Contract Monitoring and Compliance:

  • Maintain detailed records of all contractual obligations, deadlines, and amendments.

  • Monitor performance under contracts and escalate compliance issues or disputes when necessary.

  • NIS2 cybersecurity compliance

• Process Optimization:

  • Develop and refine contract management workflows and tools to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.

  • Provide training and support to internal teams on contract terms and best practices.

 

Qualifications

• Education:

  • ​Bachelor’s degree in law, business administration, energy management, or a related field. A master’s degree or legal qualification is a plus.

• Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract management, preferably in the energy, utilities, or trading sectors.

  • Demonstrated expertise in drafting and negotiating complex agreements.

• Skills:

  • Strong understanding of energy trading markets, regulations, and industry standards.

  • Exceptional attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Other Attributes:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

  • Team-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving shared goals.

  • Fluency in English and Danish is preferred.

Office location in Høje Taastrup with approximately 20 travelling days per year
