​About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team in the electrical energy storage and renewable energy sector. The accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the financial health of our organization. 

 

Your Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

• Prepare financial statements, reports, and forecasts to support business decisions.

• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, government incentives, and renewable energy industry financial reporting standards.

• Manage project cost accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis for energy storage projects.

• Assist with grant accounting and tracking of funding sources related to renewable energy initiatives.

• Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies.

• Utilize accounting software (e.g., Economics or other ERP systems) to streamline financial processes.

 

Qualifications & Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in accounting

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations relevant to renewable energy.

• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
