Business Developer for energy storage expert- and software company
We are looking for a talented and ambitious Business Developer, who is eager to join our team to pursue and manage new business, helping us to shape the future of the organisation from a technical and commercial perspective as we set ourselves up for rapid growth the coming years.
Who are we?
Hybrid Greentech inspire organisations to invest in energy storage so we together can reach 100% renewable energy. We and our customers are in an emerging renewable market that will face 30-fold growth over the coming years.
Founded in 2018 Hybrid Greentech, develops and operates an AI-driven software ecosystem for sizing and real-time optimisation of energy storage, and Power to X solutions in energy markets. We are a team of 15 people with strong domain knowledge in renewable energy, energy storage, machine learning, and AI who want to revolutionise energy storage, grid-scale battery systems, and Power to X flexibility in energy and power markets.
Can you accelerate growth of our Virtual Power Plant, Energy storage sizing and advisory?
Based in our Høje Taastrup office, you will join our team with mixed nationalities and seniorities. Situated in our Business Development vertical you will work closely with our software development and operations team. From here you will take part in driving a data-centred, value-focused business development workflow and leverage our unique IP protected data platform to maximize conversion rates from product development to market deployment opportunities. You will work on maturing opportunities within all of Hybrid Greentech’s 3 business areas: Our Virtual Power Plant, Energy Storage Sizing and Advisory.
The Business Developer reports to the Business Development Manager at Hybrid Greentech whose main work location is Høje Taastrup.
More specifically, your areas of responsibility will be:

Manage all parts of assigned opportunities and client engagements, from outbound contact and qualification to composing proposals, opportunity closure, and handover to the project delivery team – drawing on the support of relevant team members in Hybrid Greentech

Take part in executing the sales strategy, assessing opportunities, and in time take the lead on one or more client/market segments, partnerships or sales channels

Track opportunities and KPIs in our CRM system for maximizing conversion, facilitate informed decisions and reporting. Point to areas of ineffectiveness in current CRM processes and take the lead on improvement together with external CRM consultants

Give inputs to the continuous development of Hybrid Greentech’s value propositions and offerings to ensure these are always in line with our target customer/market needs

Participate in the continuous development of Hybrid Greentech’s marketing material including presentations and website, specifically for the parts that involves communicating our products and services to non-technical recipients/decisionmakers

Participate in the planning and attendance at commercial events, trade fairs, industrial networks, programs, accelerators, etc. with the aim of increasing Hybrid Greentech’s visibility and brand and to generate more opportunity leads or value-adding partnerships
What you Bring and your Qualities
A great candidate will have some combination of the following qualities and experiences:

Have a degree in Engineering, IT, International Business or similar

2+ years of professional experience in consulting or energy industries

Proven track record within sales of innovative and complex solutions and/or consulting

The ability to motivate and inspire customers and colleagues in a complex technical environment

Knowledge of the electric power industry, with a special focus on European power markets is a plus
-
Experience with SaaS and cloud-based services is a plus
-
Professional networks in Utilities, IPPs, project developers, and institutional investors is a plus
-
Danish and English fluently in written and spoken
-
Full proficiency with the Microsoft Office package
